Planning a Branded Guest Wi-Fi Login Page with UniFi
Agree the guest journey, compatible UniFi environment and access boundaries before configuring the portal.

The portal is one step in the guest journey
A captive portal is a landing page shown as part of joining guest Wi-Fi. UniFi supports portal branding such as welcome wording and a logo. AigentZone configures this ready-made technology; it is not presented as an AigentZone-developed platform.
Plan how visitors identify the right network, reach the page and get help if it does not open. Use clear wording and test the supplied identity on small screens before accepting the setup.
Agree four decisions before configuration
Keep requirements separate from optional features listed by a vendor. Availability in documentation does not mean the feature is included in your agreement.
- Existing UniFi devices, management access, version and network layout.
- Welcome text, logo, supported access method and help contact.
- What guests may access and which business systems must remain blocked.
- Ownership of ongoing changes and any additional data-processing scope.
Test isolation separately from the welcome page
Test authorized internet access and blocked business paths from a guest device. Portal appearance is not evidence of network isolation. Ubiquiti distinguishes guest-network controls from the landing-page experience; check the full installed configuration.
Do not assume guest access creates permission for marketing. SMS, payments, CRM integration and extra data collection need separate feasibility and scope review. A basic branded portal should not silently become a customer-data project.
